I am using Windows 10 operating system, and when I select shutdown, sleep or hibernate, the screen turns off but the PC is still in remains on and then it has to be manually powered off by pressing the power button for some time. I have even performed the System Maintenance troubleshooter, performed System and Security/Power troubleshooter, testing shutdown/sleep/hibernate in safe mode, no errors were reported. But in Safe mode reports an "unknown hard error". Kindly help me in fixing this problem!!!!
Thanks in advance.

This is a very common issue, don’t panic as you can easily solve this issue.  You need to do is Repair the Operating system of your computer/laptop. Simply insert the bootable disk of your system’s OS version and instead of formatting the entire system simply choose “Repair System”. Via this way, you can easily deal with shutdown, sleep mode and hibernation issue.
