Can I delete duplicate data that packed up disk space?

With the help of WinDirStat I found that a large chunk of files (more than 15 GB) that was eating up my disk space. I went to investigate and I noticed that the file structure was fairly repetitive, much like leftover driver installations.

Yes you should delete all of the duplicate data and other kind of junk files. If you not sure about what data to delete then you must use a professional PC Cleaner tool. This kind of app is specially design to remove junk files from PC and speedup the performance.
